Images today are of the copper going on and the cross. The one thing we could not determine until it came down was exactly how the cross was made. Note the wood inside. The "cone and straps" that connect the cross to the steeple structure will be replaced. And we believe the cross is actually copper! So bringing it back to its original look will be great.
