The work on the actual steeple is nearing completion.  The cross was set on top Friday, August 19, 2022.  And there are lots of photos of that happening!  We are continuing tuckpointing and caulking places we haven't seen in a while!  The contractors, ISC Contracting, Hyde Sheet Metal, Staat Tuckpointing, BrandSafway and Ahal Preconstruction Services have been professional, timely, and great to work with!

Wow!  It's coming together fast now.  The 155 year old cross has been cleaned and refurbished.  We will install new straps and attachments and it will be atop the steeple soon!

James G. Staat Tuckpointing & Waterproofing is 90% complete.  Hyde Sheet Metal is doing the copper material and they are nearing the top.  The new lightning protection work began this week.   And we are staying within budget!  Our owner's rep, Bill Ahal, climbed to the top this week to check the work and took pictures while her was there! The General Contractor, ISC Contracting, has ordered the new louvers and preparing for the interior work on the bell tower soon. Brand/Safway will return when it's all complete to remove the scaffolding. And the cross is being cleaned and restored too!
