High School FaithQuest is designed for students in grades 9-12. Adult leaders plan fellowship activities, organize outreach projects, and guide kids through discussions about our Episcopal faith. All are welcome, whatever your race, sexual identity, and orientation. HSFQ is a safe space for all, as we navigate the high school years and proceed on our journeys of faith. High School has their own room at the end of the hall on the 2nd floor.

Every Friday evening at 6 pm a small group meets on the Corner of Lockwood & Bompart for a Black Lives Matter Vigil. Anyone is welcome.

Learn about the Emmanuel Children's Butterfly Project begun last year and the plans for the future of our conservation and native garden efforts.
Hear about why this matters to us as stewards of God's gift of creation. Learn what you can do to help here at Emmanuel. You don't have to be on the EarthLove Committee to participate. All are welcome! Provided are steps you can take to begin your own butterfly garden project or embrace native gardening at home. Also provided are books and linked online resources to inform and support us all in our efforts to care for creation. |
We enjoyed a discussion with biographica information (mostly legend), poems - one of them a favorite hymns we traditionally sing on Trinity Sunday!
Read the BIOGRAPHIES. Read THE LORICA, also known as St. Patrick's breastplate. Included is a newer translation with an equally beautiful perspective. Read THE GIVEAWAY a peom about St. Bridget (Brigid, Bride, etc). Our powerpoint: icons of these saints. The St. Brigid icon was written by Valori+ (and is copyrighted). |
Everyone is encouraged to amend their deed,
not remove the covenant. Removing the covenant erases history. To see if your deed has a racially restrictive covenant, please use the links below. All of Saint Louis Map Webster Groves Map |
Scroll through the pdf (on the right ->) for the presentation offered by our Priest in Charge, Valori+ for All Saints Sunday. There was lots of conversation around the slides, but this will give you a basic outline - and maybe spark some questions! If so, just ask me. ~Valori+ We shared some biographies of saints from these two sites: James Kiefer's Christian biographies (saints that are on the Episcopal calendar) or Wikipedia (you can also Google the saint's name. Please check the legitimacy of the source that comes up) Homework: Please allow the Holy Spirit to choose one of these, study them, pray with them, then share your experience! |
