The purpose of Children’s Chapel is to lead the youngest of our fold gradually into full, conscious, and active participation in Sunday worship.
Children's Chapel is currently on hold due to the pandemic.
In the past, and hopefully resuming in the future, Children’s Chapel is been available for children ages 4 and up. They are invited to follow the crucifer and adult leaders after the readings in the worship service to gather in the Children’s Chapel. There, they will celebrate a liturgy designed specifically for children. Trained volunteers teach Bible stories and Christian concepts as well as liturgical elements such as: processions, singing, dialogue; and visual elements like: seasonal church colors, light, the cross, and artwork. The purpose of Children’s Chapel is to lead the youngest of our fold gradually into full, conscious, and active participation in Sunday worship. If you would like to learn more about it or volunteer to shepherd or be a liturgist, please contact Children and Family Ministry Coordinator, Katie Gregston.
